Unfortunately, our society desexualizes motherhood. Don't believe in this constructed idea. Having a baby does not transform you into your mother (or your mother-in-law). You have all the same parts, hormones, and abilities that you did before and your right to enjoy them has not diminished. Remember, there are a lot of sexy moms out there—Madonna and Susan Sarandon to name a couple—and there's no one reason why you can't be the same. As distinct from you, they may be fame, but they're no different when it comes to giving birth and getting back into shape.
Sometimes after woman give birth she doesn’t feel herself sexual. As usual they feel depress. They might suffer from “post-natal depression.” It befalls in more then half of all women who have babies. As a rule it happens between 4 days and 7 weeks after accouchement. Doctors don’t know exactly what that reason is; it could be linked to the fluctuations in hormones, or to the social and psychological consequences of becoming a mother. In case the depression lasts beyond 9 weeks after the birth, you should talk to your doctor. Of course having a baby is one of the most wishful and happy aspects of life. And there are many wonderful things that can happen in a relationship after the birth of the child. Also you may find that having a child together increases intimacy. Both of you are the two people who build up this new life together. You are the “Mother” and “Father” and that can be inexpressible feelings!
